Review by Scarlett Roberts; Rating 4 out of 5
This was a great, quick read with a new take on the paranormal world of weres, demons, and shamans. The original concept of the supernatural beings spirits and the need for shamans was explained very well. Even as a novella, I feel the author did an awesome job of genuinely getting the reader invested in these characters with really strong story development.
The only complaint I can voice is that I wish the story had went on a little longer (not much of a complaint, eh?) and as this is the 1st book in this new series, I’ll be looking forward to reading more (and hopefully longer) and maybe being able to delve a little deeper into this supernatural world. My rating for Spirit on Fire, 4 out of 5.
